ws-65807?2, then 2 blinks is short protection.
Usually this means in this set one of the two pico fuses that protect the convergence circuit is blown.
This model uses two of the STK-392-570 CONVERGENCE IC'S.
What
you need to do first if you are able is remove the back cover and
locate the fuses---I can tell you where they are on the board. Check
both of them just like you would check any fuse. If either or both are
blown----you have found your problem. The set will detect if either or
both are bad that no
voltage is reaching the Convergence circuit and it will shut off.
I
can tell you the least expensive place to get the parts and I have step
by step start to finish instructions for this repair if you are handy
and know how to solder etc.
Considering the total parts cost
would be under 25 dollars--if you can do this repair you can save a lot
of money--most shops get 300-400 for this kind of repair----I know as I
have done hundreds of these repairs----did a Mitsubishi a few days ago
with the same two chips bad---about one hour for me in the customer's
home.
I have photos of the fuses and location also--if you
decide you want the instructions and photos we will find a way to get
them to you. I am not permitted to give MY
email address here--if you know what I mean.
If
you have ANY QUESTIONS OR WANT the instructions etc---let me know--I am
here to help and I do know a lot about this type of set.
First thing is for you to find out if either of the fuses is gone----if they are----you MUST change both chips and or fuses etc.
