Hdd problem not detect

Try to get Acronis Disk Director. This program is able to read and format your harddisk, even when Windows is not able to see it (*). With the mentioned software, you can format the disk and make it readable for Windows.

(*) Maybe it's not formatted, or contains a file-format which Windows does not recognise, like what happened, when this disk was previously formatted for UNIX/Linux-systems. With Acronis you can overcome this problem.

Any sata hdd can't dected by the mother board but any sata dvd dected by the mother board. what kind of procedure i followed now?

Your motherboard CAN detect a SATA device.
Your motherboard DOES detect your SATA optical device.
Your motherboard does NOT detect your SATA disk-drive.

This suggests that your disk-drive is "dead".
Exercise the WARRANTY on it, to get it repaired/replaced.
Or, if the warranty has EXPIRED, purchase a new SATA disk-drive.

Find in your BIOS if you have an option that says configure SATA as IDE, AHCI and raid. Set it at IDE and try again to install the OS. After intaling do not switch back because it will not work.

How can i installed driver of sata hdd for linux red hat

if you are installing red hat 8 and higher there is no need to install extra driver because linux is the only operating system which will install everything including drivers, office suite, programming tools etc .... as far as my suggestion dnt install old versions of linux instead install new version ... there are many linux available
ex: fedora core 4,5,6 ,knoppix live cd linux ( which boots linux from cd no need install it) ,ubuntu, red hat, mandrake, suse ....
you can download it from net 4 free as linux is open source 4 all ...
be careful while installing linux especially during partitioning..... if u make a mistake you will lose all datas

Harddisk not detected

Is it detectable by your System BIOS ? If it is detectable, there is two solutions, Hardware one and Software one. The Hardware one, is to remove the HD's Board and replace it with another one. you only have to unscrew 4 or 5 screws, it's simple. The software one, is to Get Hiren's Boot CD and use a tool there called MBR Tool. Start it in DOS mode and Press the Recover/Restore MBR. You should try the software part first. and Before trying anything you should look for cracks or hits (caused by the fall of your HD) on the HD Board or the Body of the HD.
