How do you replace the circuit boards in a Viking/Amana bottom freezer refrigerator? Is it just un-plug the old and plug in the new?
    Thank you

My alarm keeps going off in my 2006 Toyota Matrix for no reason at all. How do I fix this?

Oh there is a reason and that is likely one of the door sensors on the door latches inside the door is going haywire and that makes the system think the car is being broken into. Have a scanner hooked up to see what sensor is doing this, they are called door ajar switches.

The dooor does not close and open after I have change the motor's battery, the motor only beep, what could br the problen

Try manual release and move door without the opener. If it moves freely , may be a problem with the drive motor or limit switches or even something blocking the photoelectric sensors.

What does 3 flashes pause than 3 flashes over and over on a Viper 3105V one way alarm system mean?

The three-flash, wait, three-flash sequence indicates that either the nuisance prevention circuitry or another fault has been registered by Zone 3 or the door sensor. Nuisance prevention circuity is automatically activated when there are several faulty activation codes sent to a sensor. In turn, the door sensor is bypassed by the alarm which keeps the system quiet. This only happens when a specific threshold is reached in specific activation codes that are sent from the door sensor to the alarm cpu.

It would seem inadvisable to disable the door sensor when it is receiving faults. It might indicate someone is trying to boost your car. However, it is not as inadvisable as you might think.

The faults that activate the nuisance circuity tend to be lower-level faults and not the major ones that might trip the door sensor such as someone trying to slip the door lock or someone who might smash a window. In those instances, even though the nuisance circuity was tripped, the alarm will still work and sound, if it receives major faults such as the attempted to slip the door lock or the windows is broken.

The nuisance circuitry is meant to prevent the alarm from activating for multiple impacts to the door such as those that might be called during a high wind or if pieces of wood were blown against the car during a high wind.

Door open sensor trips and alarm sounds

It's either the sensor itself or the wiring from the sensor to wherever it goes. I would start by swapping the two rear sensors and see if the fault moves to the other side. If not it's the wiring which you will need to trace and check all connectors involved.

Outside dooor handle

Replacement door handles are found at a Dealer, and Salvage yard. Some auto parts stores stock a universal car/truck handle on their "Help Wall"...Your interior door panel usually needs to be removed to switch out the handle. Most are held in place with 10mm head bolts...(2) What kind of car?

The alarm light stay's on but the alarm does not beep or set

It sounds like your alarm is in valet. Open any dooor, press lock, unlock, lock. The LED light should go off and you should be able to arm the alarm with the chirps active.

U 1 error message

U1 is a right cover open error. So either that cover is not closed all the way, the tab on the door itself is not hitting the sensor that detects if it is closed, the sensor itself isn't working properly and lastly it could be board malfunctions. Most times on this model it is either a broken tab on the door or it is not shutting correctly. The front door has to be completely shut before the right door will shut. If you are looking at the right dooor straight on the sensor is at the bottom left corner of the machine. There is a little **** in the plastic that is where the sensor is. There is a piece of plastic on a spring that is on a guide that slides back when "triggered" some times that can come off the guide.
Hope this helps.

Help with wireless window security alarm

"Zone not ready" indicates the windows sensors are not seeing the magnet piece to indicate the window is closed. Are your sensors built into the window jams or are they external wires you can see?

If you have external wires, look for broken wires or broken/missing magnetic bars.

Did the painters paint the window jams? If so, they may have painted over a sensor, though paint usually does not affect the functionality of a magnetic sensor.

Look for the broken wires or broken/missing magnets.

Also - you should be able to bypass the window zones and set the alarm. Instructions for bypassing a zone should be on the alarm head or available online.

Car Alarm/Door lock

This happened to me too...It turned out to be that my door was out of adjustment, which caused the door position sensor to not know whether the door is closed or open. Sometimes my light on the inside of the door would flash (because the car thought that the door was open). Once the alarm did activate, the car would sometimes think that the door had opened, thus causing the alarm to activate. It was cheap to have fixed...I think it was less than $100 at the dealership.
