-   I purchased a Kenmore 600 series top loading washer and have a problem with the water temp also. It gives me hold on cold and cold on hot. Some washes actually work correctly. The machine is supposed to have all COLD rinses, but I receive HOT rinses. Had machine replaced with an identical one within the 1st week. Now I'm getting the runaround from Sears that the part is on back order. (Until July 7th!) Repairman actually admitted they've know about this issue with Whirlpool/Kenmore machines but there is been no recall or defective models pulled out of the warehouse. I'm getting ready to give them some free televised advertisement when I report this ordeal.-   lala1985

-   No water comes into the tub when the COLD cycle is selected. However, cold water is dispensed when warm cycle is selected. Is there a known problem with the water temperature switch on this BRAND NEW KENMORE model 88752?-   gloda

Turn off the faucet in wall. Unscrew the inlet hose to examine whether there is clogging in the tiny screens. Both ends as well as machine input hose. Clear out properly. Open faucet to check. See that you have a "y" or "F" type adaptor for your hot and cold inputs of the machine. This is if you have only one faucet in wall for your washing machine. If this does not work you have to check your (plug off the wall first) wires to the inlet pump of your machine - this probably has come off or is loose. And if this does not work, your inlet valve could be defective.
