Question about Saeco Aroma Espresso Machine

Saeco Aroma Espresso pump not drawing water

Hi, Got a new Saeco Aroma Espresso machine for Christmas. Set it up this morning, filled water tank, plugged in. turned on and followed directions to prime machine. A few drops of water came out of steamer then steam then the pump got really loud and nothing. Was not able to get the 4 oz. the directions stated we would. When we looked at the tube going into the pump there was no water in it. Unfortunately we purchased it on Ebay (last time I'll ever make that mistake) so getting warranty coverage is probably not an option. The seller has yet to respond and I don't foresee ever getting one. I contacted a repair place in NJ, but with the holiday I figure they're closed. Any advise you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi Espressoless,

You have to force in water to the machine, to this you need a bellow pump or similar and force it into the water tank inlet when you do a priming.

What is the priming?

Prime refers to priming the pump. The error message means that there is air in the system which is preventing the pump from pumping water. To correct this, fill the tank with water, press the water button on the right side, and turn the water/steam knob to open. Allow the water to flow until the stream is steady. Press the water button again and your problem should be fixed

My Saeco Aroma Expresso machine has water leaks

I think you have to replace the gasket in the machine where the portafiller fits on the machine.

Make sure your filter is clean before you replace any gasket.

The fixing of my Saeco Aroma problem

Try first this.

Fill the water tank with water, power on the machine.
open the steamknob and press the button for making coffee, if you are lucky you will get water out of the steam pipe.

If you not get any water then you have to press in water with force in the tube you can see in your water tank, the instruction above is the same on this case.

Hope it will help you.

Saeco aroma won't turn on, I tryed different plugs where appliances work.

Try to reset the thermostat.

Take off the water tank, now you will see two screw, one in each corner. Take off the top, now you will see the boiler.

There are one thermostat with a pin in the middle, push down this.

Put the top on again and the screw.

Hope this will help you.
