I have brought Nokia 6030 B in US. I got it unlocked by the provider (T Mobile). I am trying to use it in India (provider is Airtel). I am not able to see any signal. While I try outgoing call, it says "no network coverage". The sim card is working fine with other mobile phones. I have tried two simcards with this piece and I faced the same issues. Any solution for this issue?
Try selecting the 'band' for that country manually.
In that case do this:
*#746025625#
See if it works and reply.
Try to reformat your phone, first turn it OFF. Press * 3 send at the same time and keep them pressed while you turn power on.
Give it time to work.
This will restore the original settings.
You will lose anything stored on your phone.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have tried to select the network Manually. After searching for a minute, it says no network service detected. I have not found any option to select "band". I have also browsed thru the user guide. No luck. The only thing it said is that this phone model supports both EGSM900 and GSM1800. I am sure Airtel (the service provider I am using in India) supports GSM1800.
No signal.Same SIM tried with other phones works normally.Had given it to "NOKIA Care", but they seem to be unable to detect the problem.
