Just provide the schematic of the psw202 usbwoofer and I will be on my way.

The output of the transformer goes to a RS404L bridge rectifier. The two 4700uF filter caps are leaking.

Ron53's did you work in this area?

Yamaha YST-SW216 hooked up via speaker line in from an older Yamaha receiver. (no sub out). Was working fine, then my wife heard strange sounds from the stereo (She was in th kitchen). Now no sound coming from the sub. I checked the fuse and it is still good. Unit powers on but still no sound. Suspect probably amp is blown but don't know how to check. Thanks for any help.

The sub-amp doesn't work. The relay doesn't click, so the safety IC reacts.
I' ve meassured -1.1V DC on the Loudspeaker out side. The 3.15 A fuse of the amp isn't blown up, also all powertransistors are alive. I've checked other transistors and diodes, everything allright. So I think i'm getting to change all three QuadOP's TL074CN . But I need a schematic or service manual ??
Does anybody have an idea ?? marei41@web.de

Have a JVC sub SP-PWM606 all speakers work except sub. found a blown cap on what I assume is the sub's amp replaced 2 caps- still no sub

Sub woofers are basically mono amps. It's likely that either a fuse has gone, on the sub, due to the blown caps. Or more likely the main power amp device of the device blew the caps. I suspect if you replace the IC or transistor(s) on the heatsink then the device will come back to life.

Sub woofer not turning on

Is it receiving power? If not that is your answer - could be a blown fuse, bad wire, bad connection, etc.

If power is there and it still does not work then the problem coud be with a bad sub woofer on/off switch, internal fuse, or worse, blown amp from over driving.

I have a 1100watt sub woofers, and a 1000 watt amp. Will the my sub woofers, or amp blow out or get damaged.

Are those rms wattage?

Anyways, your subs (if you have two) will double the power of your amp, meaning your amp will be under powering your subs. Nothing will get blown out but will never see their full potential. But if you were to use single sub with your amp then you are more likely see the full potential of the sub and amp.

2 subs=2200 watts is just twice the power of the amp output power!

Mirage LF 150 Sub Woofer. sub not working

within the sub amplifier is an electronic amplifier, that is shorted and blown a fuse. This is all internal. If you can dismantle this module, I suggest do so and any electrical/electronic individual will identify the part needed. you could also check on a replacement module-complete.

Do you know if my woofer is blown?

well if you hear a rattle sound its probably already blown...and the amp could be drawing too much power if the radio shuts off...make sure all your wiring is correct. also if your car is off and you turn it up it will most likely shut off cause the battery cant handle it. but as for the sub i think its blown. good luck

Bose acousticmass 15 sub-woofer making a noise

The sub contains the amp for the other speakers. But it sounds like the amp has a seriously damaged section and will probably have to be serviced by Bose.

Confused about system

If what you're telling me is correct you're trying to drive a stereo sub -woofer with a mono amplifier. If so, that could be a bad situation for the amp, if the voice coils are not wired together correctly. Before we go too far, I have some questions I need answered.
1. Is the MA unit an M1889i?
2. Do you have the 4 terminals of sub-woofer tied together. For example the 2 positive terminals are tied together & the 2 negative terminals are tied together?
3.How do you supply 12VDC to the amp?

While I'm waiting to hear back from you, I'll try to draw a schematic (wiring diagram) of the way it should be wired for your particular setup that I'll send to you.
