Hi, Power surge knocked out power briefly, but now we are getting no printed confirmation sheets that fax was transmitted. How to reset??

HP LaserJet 3050, 3055, 3390, 3392 AiO Product - How to Print a FAX Confirmation Report Description By default, a Fax Confirmation report (Fax Call Report) will only print when a fax error occurs. However, this option can be changed using the printer control panel.

1. Press the right arrow until Reports appears in the display, press the checkmark.
2. Press the right arrow until Fax Call Report appears in the display, press the checkmark.
3. Press the right arrow until Print Report appears in the display, press the checkmark.
4. Right arrow to the option of choice, press the checkmark to save the change.

FAX call report options

• Send Fax Only - a confirmation sheet will only print when a fax is sent
• Never - no fax confirmation sheets
• Every Error - default setting
• Send Error - a fax confirmation prints when the fax transmission encounters an error
• Every Fax - a fax confirmation sheet will print for incoming

some time of error on the machine u r getting.unplug the device and then replug for reset do it

I hope your fax is on a "surge Protector" providing protection for both Hydro and telephone line.
Use your operators manual to check setting of Confirmation Report as it can be set to OFF/ON. Proceedure varys by Manufacturer and model.

On the printer panel, go to SETUP--->Admin Menu--->System Settings--->Fax Transmit---> set to Print Always.

after emailing canon support, the answer is this: 1) the fax paper size must be "letter" - 8.5-11". 2) reset all settings through settings menu. the fax will then print reports (and also every report that was not printed before).

Scroll through the menus for REPORT PRINT to set confirmation.

2. Press 5 or scroll down or use arrows to enter in to Print Report.
3. Press 4 or scroll down or use arrows to enter in to Fax Confirmation.
