Get your output from auxiliary output jacks of(karaoke machine)and connect it to equalizer- and connect equalizer output to input of surround sound system.

If your karaoke machine has external audio output jacks then you can use RCA audio cables to connect it to an input to your tv. You'll get no picture but sound will work

I trying to hook up an old record player to my Vocopro karaoke machine & I can't get any sound. What cables & where do I hook them

the record player should have a 2 sets of wires (one for power) and the other for left/right sound........you may need an adapter for this if there is no RCA plug in (if there is plug in AUX)

Why is the karaoke music from my external hard

Playing through the USB port can cause all sorts of "problems" also ensure NO other software is competing for the CPU time. It is always best to play work on use, anything or file, from the actual hard drive. simply copy the files to the HD, and use them from there Also more RAM is always beneficial Also make sure you have the most up-to-date Codecs installed too.
