There is small switch located at front circuit board that is not working properly and causing "cover not open" message.
Take off LCD cabinet section then remove front cabinet section, remove screws on circuit board and turn it to see that switch.
There can be lose connection on switch terminals or switch is not being pressed properly with lens cover lever. Please check it carefully.
