I am using Vista and XP to run belkin peripheral switch for printing. The switch is not always seen by the OS. Is there a driver to fix?

- There didn't seem to be any response to this trick. Switching between the two pc's goes smoothly, I just can't print successfully...

- The problem has been intermitant from the beginning, now I can't get it to print at all. It will still work sometimes from my XP machine. The error says that I need to respool or reboot.
ok- i use the same one, no driver needed- you hook it all up then boot the pc's and you hit the scroll lock key two times-then tap the up or down keys once. this will switch between the 2 pc's- this is a decent switch, and i really like it. good luck with it! if you need further assistance reply. but this is simple to make it work, so you should be ok. be well!

- hi, is this a wireless printer? I would start with a check of the pinter and file sharing settings.a registry repair utility and if the issue continues, re-install the printer-and set up the printer sharing again. i apologize i could not give you more help, as i do not know more about your configuration.( other that you are working with an xp and a vista pc with a belkinkvm switch) and my guess would be the vista pc may be the culprit.

I installed a kvm switch2 for 2 computers with ps2 keyboard and mouse. the mouse (logitech) is never recognised when I start the pc. I always have to reboot to let the switch find the mouse. keyboard is ok. Both devices work ok direct on the computers.
