Typically, my camera respond quickly and takes a picture when I press the button. Lately, it is sluggish, partiucularly when trying to take consecutive shots. What do I need to do?

Hoping that you haven't got the shutter speed set incorrectly, then this could be just general wear and tare if the camera has a lot of use or is quite old. If everything else is ok like exposures,focus etc then I would say that all it may need is a good service. Do not attempt this yourself. Just make your way to a reputable dealer and have it serviced and cleaned.
