My brothers xbox 360 arcade won't display higher

My bro has just bought am arcade and I went to try and display it to 1080i but it is not high lighted except for 480p someone plzzz tell me how to fix !!!

If it isn't highlighted / selectable that means either the cable you are using or the TV you are connected to is not capable of displaying anything above 480p. You will either need to use a different type of video cable, or a different TV, or both.

- What kind of cable are you using to connect the xbox 360 to the TV? If it's HDMI then it should work fine, if it's component make sure the switch is set to HD on the part of the cable that connects to the 360, there is a small switch on one side.
