Hello, i have a latitude D 600 and tried to turn

1. Switch on the Laptop
2. When you get screen before use F8 function keys for few seconds until you got a list of options.
3.Then select ENABLE VGA MODE
4.Your machine will boot with less colours then you can adjust them on the display properties afterwards

Go into safemode and remove the drivers,reboot let windows install the drivers.If not the drivers should be under the Dell folder on the computer.

I think as per your question this seems to display resolution problem happens some time with games.

For this follow these steps
1. Switch on the Laptop
2. When you get screen before use F8 function keys for few seconds until you got a list of options.
3. Then select "Safe Mode"
4. After entering into safe mode then reset the default display settings to 800by600 and apply.
5. Restart the system.
