This less than 18 month old turns it self OFF then ON after about 20 minutes?
Hello!
Strange thing happening with my Samsung LE32R7BDX LCD, just started doing this.
It's flicking off, then a few seconds later it fires itself up, then repeats, but seems to me the interval getting shorter. Red standby light appears to be flashing randomly also.
Only had the set just over 12 months, any advice? (Just out of warranty.)
Many thanks!!
Unplug TV, take off the back. One each board there will be capacitors. the tops are flat unless one has blown then it is bubbled up. If you find one that is bad, copy the number and search the internet for a replacement. Unsolder and remove the old one ( there is a line drawn on the negative leg, mark the neg side on the motherboard so you can replace the new one the same way). Now solder the new one back onto the board. This worked for my TV, hope it helps

disconnect the AC power cord from the back of the tv for at least 3 minutes. Then re-connect the AC power cord and turn on the TV.

You can also try a hard reset: Unplug TV from AC mains and remove all cables from TV. Wait about 30 minutes and replug to AC power and redo the cabling. Switch on the TV and see if it works..
