When I use the camera to take a picture, the display screen has lines that appear and "jump" around the screen. What is causing this, and how can I fix it? Thanks!
If it is Canon A80 camera then it got ccd imager failure problem and ccd imager chip will be replaced. Canon offers free of cost repair for few models, A80 included, for ccd imager chip problem. Click Canon CCD Imager Advisory for details for USA, if you live in another country, please check with local Canon service center. Thanks.

I have a Canon Powershot A80 (bought in 2005). The first problem was with this camera, this -> http://s74.photobucket.com/albums/i256/Enx/?action=view¤t=IMG_8994.jpg The Canon company fixed the problem for 60?. (Something was wrong with the shutter, It didn't close and the changed a wire in the camera, I think). Now the second problem! The red lines in the photos and on the top of the pictures. Also the colors are not right! (tooo red-ish? Looks like the pics were taken with a vey very old camera when they first started to use color cameras instead of black and white). http://picasaweb.google.com/enku182/PersesKaamera# The red lines in the picture.
