Hello...my 6500c phone shows the charginf but doesnt charge.

You can get the Unlock code for Nokia 6500 Classic Model Phone from the site Unlocking4u.com/nokia/rs6wp8/ and Unlock it from Network Lock.

If the cell phone battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out.Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles andwill lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% andgradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR Thebattery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the batterydrops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to anunacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.

It sounds like you may have a bad charger. Try using a different cable or charging it through usb. if that doesnt work, then you may have damaged the charger slot on your phone and will have to get it replaced.

it is not supposed to make any sound when charging, if it does it means there is a problem somewhere.
it is not charging properly. try to turn off the phone and plug the charger. its supposed to bring up a light the show the battery meter and show it charging bar by bar, if it doesn't come up this way, try using the same charger on another phone to see if the charger is working. anything you detect, try to replace the battery and try again.

are you sure that the charger you are using is good & working?if you are sure that it is working,what is the response of the celphone display when you take a charge,doest it appear not charging?or no response at all?..if it doesnt respond and your charger is working,then the problem is on your celphone charging regulator.But,when it is responding when you take a charge but it does not store too much in your batery,then the problem is 100% on your batery,and you need to replace it for a new one.

Hello ! pls use the right charger for it using a different charger can damage the charging IC of the phone .
The charger for LG could look the same but designed different also the bat can be damaged thats means it won't charge

The sidekick 3 has an issue with thte charging port. If you have a friend with a sidekick 3 or sidekick ID, try one of their batteries. If your unit powers on, the charging port has gone bad.

the repair for a charginf port runs about 80-100 dollars. A cheaper work around is to get a charging cradle that has a spare battery charger slot. They run about 30 dollars on ebay and it will allow you to charge the bettery seperate from the phone.
