i have a IBM thinkpad R40, i upgrade to xp professional from windows 2000, i have a problem with the LAN which always display no connectivity, i have installed the LAN driver downloaded to the IBM website, i also tested the network cable and it is working fine in other PC and laptop,

start here,determine witch of the two options you have in yours,intel pro 100 VE network connection or intel pro 1000 lan adapter then download and install according to instructions good luck,aloha from maui todd0708
