Panasonic CTV Model TX-29F250M

When I turn on my TV it switches to standby mode within few seconds. This happened after I did some selection by pressing the Menu Button in the remote control accidentally.

If the light blinks it indicates a fault, probably in the high voltage circuit. If it is steady the problem could be anywhere. First you need to check all internal fuses. Then power supply for all necessary voltages. If this checks out each section would have to be isolated. At this point a service manual would be helpful ( From there it would be a matter of a process of elimination. Everything I said is contingent upon you being familiar with and capable of doing the work. These things are dangerous and best left to professioals if you are not trained. Good luck.

Hello, a manual for the Daewoo GB20H1T is available here:

I'm not positive, but I'd imagine the GB20H1T and H1TS are compatible as far as the manual goes.

I cannot turn TV off from remote. It makes the picture go out but red light is still on. Have to unplug the TV to turn it all the way off.

red light stays on because tv is in standby mode when switched off by the remote, should be an on/off switch on the tv body somewhere

How do I turn off demo mode

To exit the self-demo mode, with the TV on, press and hold Play/Repeat for 5 seconds (possibly a bit more). If you press and hold the button again, you will go into the demo mode. Panasonic has the manual at their support site: . The direct link to the manual is .

I hope this helps.

How to unlock child lock for Panasonic Television model TC-21Z88K?

Just try this method. Most of the Panasonic sets will respond to this procedure.

Panasonic sets need to be reset to clear the v-chip settings. To do this, put it in standby mode, then press the POWER and ACTION buttons at the same time and then turn the power off. The set should reset to the factory defaults, and reset the v-chip.

I had this same problem with my Mitsubishi it is when you have fast on mode set it pre warms the bulb to much. I turneed it off and now the bulb has lasted much longer Setting the Power-On Mode feature You can select either Power-Saving or Fast mode. If you select Power-Saving mode and you turn off the TV, it can take several seconds for the picture to appear when you turn on the TV again. Power-Saving mode saves more power than Fast mode. See "Specifications" on page 66 for details. If you select Fast mode and the TV is turned off, the TV will stay in Standby mode for several minutes (see Note below). If the TV is turned on from Standby mode, the full picture appears immediately. To set the Power-On Mode feature: 1 Press Y and open the Setup menu. 2 Highlight Power-On Mode and press c. 3 Press b or B to select either Fast or Power-Saving and press T. Note: If Power-On Mode is set to Fast and you turn off the TV, the following will occur for a few minutes: • The screen (lamp) lights dimly; and • The fans continue to run. This is a function of the Power-On Fast Shutdown mode and is not a TV malfunction. If you do not prefer this, set the PowerOn Mode feature to Power-Saving. When the Power-On Mode feature is set to Power-Saving, if you repeatedly turn the TV on and off in a short period of time, the useful service life of the lamp may be shorter than the average useful service life (- page 63).
this is from your manual not my Mitsubishi please rate this answer if you felt it was useful.

I have the same tv and i just fixed it! mine was a display model at wal mart so it was set to reset to Dynamix (fixed) after 30 minutes of no remote activity

THE FIX: switch to TV MODE and select the EZ SETUP from the option menu
when you get to the TV LOCATION option select HOME

The STORE option resets the TV after 30 mins of remote control inactivity in case someone messes up the picture settings in case someone playing with it while it was on display at the store
