Steps to improve your bootup time..
You can trim unnecessary start-up programs file using msconfig from the Run menu and unnessary services from Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Services.
Slow start and shutdown can be a symptom of Spyware infection.
Periodically, once a week or once a month defragment your C drive and other drives that you are using frequently.

Disconnect all peripherals, except keyboard, mouse and monitor. Try to start the machine in safe mode and if it comes up okay, then try to restart it into normal windows. If the problem continues, remove all but one stick of ram, and try again. if it happens again, change out the stick of ram with one of the other ones. IF this fails, and the problem still exists, try to boot from a usb drive. If it boots normally then you may have a problem in windows, and that may need a re-install.

There is a chance that you have faulty RAM module. If computer is stable on POST (until Windows boot-up) I would suggest to use some testing tools to test that RAM with your motherboard. There is a good program called MemTest. You can find it online if you search Hirens Boot CD. Download it, burn image to disk, put 1GB RAM into motherboard, start-up PC and boot from CD. Then you'll search for Memtest program. I would suggest to leave PC for at least 6 hours for testing to find out if it's faulty or not (better to leave for 24 hours).

Can any body help me i have a PC intel D10 mother board and Ram 1 gb but the system is very slow. what can we do. plz advice

Start by reinstalling Windows and all the drivers. Next install the security software - just a light antivirus like Avast will be enough. Finally install and allow to launch at start only the programs that you really need.

I have 2gb of ram.but system detected 1 gb of ram

Make sure the board supports 2 gigs of ram, and make sure the board supports the type of ram you installed.
This info can be found either on the manufacturers website and/or the user manual that came with the board.

Sounds like the RAM is not compatible. Try another 1 GB chip from same manufacturer & see if that helps.

Hanging while using internet

It is probably because your internet connection is slow or you lack bandwidth. You have a fast computer and if you've wiped the hard drive and reinstalled windows then its unlikely that it is a windows problem. Also if you're using a modem instead of a dedicated connection they do tend to be rather slow managing only up to 56k per second.
