The disk you used was either over written or the writting was not complited successfully. Or
the the disk was written in a higher speed than the one the DVD player is meant to read. or
the format you used to write the movie is not suported by the Dvd player.
Hi,
a common problem is that people aren't aware of the fact that what disk is used and what kind of videoformat the video is.
First of all try to use a DVD R, just to make sure it will read, and take a simple 4.7Gb disk, that should do fine.
Than you can use a very commonly seen format like AVI. AVI is a format just like DivX, WMV, and many others.
If your film isn't in AVI, then search for a only converter. these programs can change the format by converting the movie into another format ;).
a good site to find one is CNET's Download.com .
Then if you burn a decent AVI movie on a normal dvdr everything should work fine.
I hope this is heplful, and greetings,
Olivier.
