What is the model number of the remote control for our Panasonic 1080i PT-47WX54J? Our TV is separating the Blue (causing a blue shadow to everything). We tried the convergence adjustment and it does not help. Any other thoughts?

You need the panasonic convergence repair kit #1 which comes with instructions with pictures. Heres a link to the correct kit for your model.

replace stk 392-110 ( or stk 392-150 same number) , check resistor 2.2 ohms for open or burn beside STK IC's

replace both STK392-110 convergence ICs. You can get replacements with instructions at the following link.

it sounds to me like your convergence boarde is bad and needs replaced

IC4511 is defective when the led blinks 5 times. that part is unavailable so you will need the entire circuit board.

Yes,try cleaning your mirror inside of tv they do get real dirty, also clean dirt off of tube lenses there are 3 of them red,green,blue. these are your picture tubes. Thank You for using FixYa and Have a nice Day.

I would suggest the convergence ICs as well as a couple resistors right near the Convergence ICs mst likely. 90 % of the time thats the problem. They are not expensive, if you can solder you can handle it if your careful with your solder and use heat sink compound. The ICs will have a number stamped on them usually STK XXX-XXX on a huge heat sink. The following link will have replacement parts http://electronix.com/ Hope this helps you out

seems like your tv got convergence problem . try setting up the convergence , use remote . if it does not help you may need to change convergence ic * 2
