i have a dvd writer .it was not reading discs like cd .dvds are reading. i can't burn datas to any discs.from where i get its spares to repair.

hey, if its reading dvd then it can read cds, possible reason is if the cd that your trying to read is burn in a format such as udf or etc. you have to install udf reader first, try to install software udf reader. try this link http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/SOUND-CARD/ hope it work.
