I just got this T.V. used, and have no remote. The picture is a bit out of focus... do I need the remote to adjust focus, color, etc.?

not all the time i think you can access the menu by pressing both of the volume buttons together at the same time or the channel buttons together at the same time...its one of those and then you can navigate up and down by those buttons as well
