First you must compress the CD to an Mp3 format. You can use a multitude of programs to do this. I find that it is easiest if you are new to just use Windows Media Player. You can tweak it by adjusting your preferences as far as the compression. I think it defaults to WMA format @ 128kbs. You can change this to Mp3 @ whatever kbs you want ... remember the higher the kbs the higher the quality of the recording .. you can compress up to 360kbs which is what I would recommend. Although the file will be much larger. Anyway open WMP ( Windows Media Player) ,,, and if you don't want to change any of the setting just insert the cd into your computer... It will show up in your WMP and ask you if you want to add to Library. agree and add it to your library.. from there you need to connect your Mp3 player to your computer. Add the songs by highlighting them and adding them to your sync list.... when you are done adding the music you want to the list click sync and this will add it to your mp3 player... Sometimes you will find that WMP doesn't recognize the player.. I believe you can hit F5 key and it searches for the player ... Sometimes it works sometimes you have to start over by reconnectin your player to the pc.. Mess around with it .. you can always delete the music off of your WMP and start from scratch... hope this helps
