You did not list your DVD model but did you try searching on the net for your DVD make/model with the keyword Region unlock? A lot of DVD's can be region unlocked using a series of keystrokes from the remote.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

The music association does not want users to play DVDs from other countries. Your DVD player will switch countries about three times then lock up. Contact the OEM, they have to do that by law in the US.

My husband has just fitted a new dvd player in our 2003 Discovery 2,But it is saying invalid region. He bought the dvd from Ebay & I was sent from the USA.Do we need some sort of reset code??

DVD players designed for the US are set for Region 1 and cannot be used with DVD's that are from other regions such as Great Britain and most of Europe which use Region 2 DVD's . What you need is a "Region Free" player which plays all regions or a player that plays your specific region. We live in the US but watch many British DVD series so use.a Region Free player as they are Region 2 and we are in Region 1.

maybe you can return the player or at least get some sort of credit for it towards the correct region player. If you are unsure of your region, just Google it.

I have not used this system and cannot vouch for it. If it says it can do it in the advert, by definition, it must.

Denon 1611 region free hack

Question is, does in state from the manufacture that it is in fact, Region Free? If its not, you won't be able to play it. In your question above, you say "hack", which means that someone outside of Denon, has rewritten the firmware, for which there you are gambling that the DVD may not ever play again, without some serious repairs. If you would like more assistance, please contact me at my website, audioserviceclinic.co. Thank you.

the region code means the player does not support the disc your playing each country is given a region code for dvd australias is region 4 if you buy a dvd from another country it wont work you can get multi region codes for dvd players im not sure of pioneers code but try using a dvd from your country region and youl find it works just fine you can also try asking a tech on fixya for the multi region code for the model dvd player you have.

What does it mean when you put your dvd in and it won't play but it has ? mark on the palyer.

It usually means that it doesn't recognise what type of disc it is. Is it a burned one? Or the wrong Region?

My son brought a disk over the Internet he is unable to play it

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVD_region_code

for DVDs you are in region 4, america is in region 1
the only other region that it would play from is south america

so it will not work untill you find a dvd player that plays DVDs from all regions

i would try and get your money back from the company and say it doesnt work (act dumb) dont go saying its wrong region. just say it doesnt work

and if you want to watch the DVD buy it from austrailia

Converting Toshiba HD E1 DVD player to codefree

Hey! It is possible to convert your Toshiba HD E1 DVD player to region free. But you need some DVD Copy software to help you remove the region code first and then burn it on a new DVD disc. Thus you can play it on your DVD player. I recommend you use this DVD Copy which is very esay-to-use.
If you want to watch your DVDs on PC or some portable palyer, you can use some DVD Ripping Software which can remove CSS protection from DVD and convert DVDs to video palyable on PC. You can have a try of this DVD Ripper.
Hope that helps.

Region-free DVD players are sold through various venues.Try playing it in a computer DVD player/burner. Some burners are region-free. Some software can copy your purchased disks, removing the region code in the process.
