Question about Broksonic CTSGT9369CTT 19 in. TV/VCR Combo
After acidently turn on and off the tv quickly the tv went blank and keeps on making a zapping noise, if i unplug the tv the noise is gone and goes back on as soon as i plug it in and the tv still doesnt work. I think i blew the fuse what should i do. thank you.
The surge most likely shorted the horizontal output transistor, and with that being shorted, it causes the power supply to "sing" from the increased load it is seeing. Unfortunately, it would probably cost near $100 to repair unless you were able to do it yourself.
