Question about Philips HDD070 MP3 Player
JUST BEFORE 2 MONTHS MY GOGEAR(HDD070)BECAME DEAD,EVEN I CAN'T ON ITS POWER.ONLY IF I SUPPLY ITS POWER THEN ONLY ITS SCREEN LED IS ON,BUT NO LETTER IS APPEARD IN ITS SCREEN.PLEASE HELP ME TO GET MY GOGEAR BACK.
Battery is too low for player to charge. There is a firmware fix for this at www.p4c.philips.com
Fix cannot be applied until player is working again.
If you know someone who has the same player, put their battery in your unit to power up and apply firmware update to fix problem. Then swap batteries back again
Another way to get the player working is to remove the side panel to disconnect battery. Plug in the mains charger and reconnect the battery. You may need to do this several times before the player springs into life.
If this doesn't work try disconnecting the charger and battery alternately and wait 5 secs between attempts.
