If the message "Check Operator Services" appears on the screen of your mobile when you attempt to make a call/sms, you should:
Check if there's a number 2 on the left hand corner of your screen.
If so, press and hold the # (hash) key until you see the message "Change the Phone Line?".
Press OK. The message "Line 1 selected" should then appear and the number 2 will disappear.
Attempt to make a call.
Note: Line 2 is an option on Nokia mobiles that's selected by holding
down the hash key and pressing OK. Vodafone doesn't support this
feature. You can prevent accidental changing of lines by activating your
keypad lock. On some handsets, you can do this by pressing "Menu" then
"*" to lock the keypad. "Menu" then "*" will unlock.
Fixed at AT&T store. Wow some one who knew what they were doing!!
Menu, Settings, Calls(5), General(1), Auto Reject(2), Reject List, Edit, Go to # rejected, Push Uncheck, Options, Save, Exit out!
jw8107 had what the manual said. Compleatly wrong.
2 shows that line 2 of your phone is selected. Press and hold the '#" button until the 2 goes away. Then you can make your Calls.
If it does not go away by that
go to Settings or Menu>Call setting select line 1
Hope this helps
First remark: This phone is not 3G compatible !!! the name is i9+ 3G but it's only the name !!!
Second: Go to settings , Dual SIM settings , and check that you're not in 'flight mode' (that's when the 2 X appear top left) and change it to either one of the 3 other options (Dual sim open, only sim1 open, only sim2 open).
Third: The name will appear when the person is in your address book.
check the top left corner of the screen, is there a "2" there. If so you are set to use line 2. You need to change it back to line 1.
select menu-settings-call settings-line for out going calls-select.
Choose line 1.
