How can i remove virus

Removing viruses, though technical, is yet a very simple process if all the required steps are properly followed.
The basic steps are:
  • Buy or download a reliable antivirus software
  • Install the antivirus software
  • Update antivirus software with the latest virus definitions
  • Perform a complete system scan
Install an Antivirus Program in the System What is Antivirus program? An antivirus is a program that searches for, identifies and removes potential viruses existing in the computer system.
Antivirus software: Some of the most commonly and reliable antivirus programs available in the market are -
  • Symantec Norton antivirus
  • AVG antivirus
  • McAfee Scan
  • Microsoft Antivirus
The antivirus software should be updated regularly to retain its effectiveness.
Before installing the antivirus, close all open applications and terminate any suspicious processes using Task Manager. Sometimes, you may need to boot into safe mode or safe mode with command prompt to delete suspicious programs and references to them in the Windows Registry (run regedit from the command prompt to open the registry editor).
Search engines are excellent tools to find out whether a certain process is harmful or not. You can also get steps on how to remove a specific virus manually.
Removing the virus beforehand might be necessary, as some viruses will not allow an antivirus to operate. However, if you are not successful, you may still continue with the installation.

Scan the System to Identify and Locate the Virus Usually, the antivirus will run automatically when the system reboots after the installation. Therefore, it might identify the virus automatically. Moreover, you may want to run a quick system scan to locate the virus.
Troubleshooting the Virus Infected Areas After the antivirus identifies the infected areas, the next step is to rectify those areas.
Methods of Eliminating Viruses
Generally, the antivirus adopts one of two methods to eliminate the virus:
  • Removing the virus - When the virus can be easily identified and can be removed without affecting other files, then the antivirus removes it from the host place.
  • Quarantine - his is done when the virus cannot be easily identified removed from the file and the removal of virus means the removal of the complete file. In this method, although the virus is not eliminated, it is rendered inactive by moving the file into "quarantine" and renaming it.
Perform a Full System Scan Even after the virus is removed from the system, the next step is to scan the whole system to ensure that no infected files remain.

I need removal instructions or software to remove: Trojan.Win32/Agent

Try to download and install antivirus software. Then scan your computer using this software. If it is strong enough, will remove all viruses. I use Microsoft security essentials and it works fine.

I continue to get on screen and pop-up warnings that my system is heavily infected with Trojan.Win32.Agent.azsy. I reported this to technical support WB,at Hewlett Packard who sent a report that this worm...

I don't quite understand the cause of your problem... You say "..this Personal Antivirus claims...". Are you saying that you bought and installed some antivirus software that's telling you that you have viruses?

If that's the case, and you've run Norton and other reputable antivirus programs and they tell you there's not a problem, I would uninstall the offending program and hope for the best.

There are some unscrupulous people out there out to get your dime if you let them, and use this kind of scare tactics to extract money from naive users. If you actually paid money for this software and it's pestering you, I would report them to the BBB in your town.

Now, there are other viruses that you may have picked up while visiting some infected web sites, or from infected attachments that behave in a similar way, and they are very stealthy in how they run and avoid detection and removal. You may need professional help to remove them from your PC.
That's my best advice in this particular case.
Good luck!

Virus not deleted after scanning

If your anti virus software was unable to delete then probably you have to reinstall the operating system.

You can try with another antivirus like avast and kaspersky.

I hope they would be able to delete.

Or you can just reformat your computer.

Good Luck.

Antivirus is basically a protection against viruses....

Basically it protects your pc from worms, trojans and viruses...

A computer worm is a self-replicating computer program. It uses a network to send copies of itself to other nodes (computerterminals on the network) and it may do so without any userintervention.

A Trojan horse, also known as a trojan, is a piece of malware which appears to perform a certain action but in fact performs many different forms of codes.

A computer virus is a computer program that can copy itself and infect a computer without permission or knowledge of the user.

Download Spysweeper from webroot. They give a 14 day trial and it works great. I recommend paying the $30 and keeping the protection on your computer so it doesn't happen again.
