Electro Brand mp3 player download problem

I have an Electro Brand Model 3774 1GB mp3 player. I have downloaded mp3 files to it successfully. I have deleted a few files. Now I have 443 MB free yet I cannot download anymore music to it. It says cannot copy --- directory or file cannot be created.

my new electro brand 3774 1GB mp3 player will only hold 71 per cent.
I put 698 megabytes on it and now get an error message when trying to add more. I can delete some songs and add others, but the device will not hold more than 700 MBs. It is supposed to hold 1GB.

I have Electro Brand MP3774 player as well. I drag-dropped my already downloaded MP3's to root directory (they first installed outside the root directory on the player) but I still cannot play files. I do not have any subdirectories (nor know how to create them or if I need subdirectories) and have not overloaded the player. I tried pushing straight down on the lever, as well as toggling forward and backward, and all I get is a "no file" note on the readout. What am I doing wrong and why did they make this so complicated?

I hit delete all on the MP3774 and it says that I can not sync with Windows Media Player

Plug it into usb, copy subdirectories under root. Note... There is a limit on the number of individual files that can be in each subdirectory. Neighbor and I bought one and he ran into the limit (I forgot the number) while I used several subfolders and filled the full 1 gb.

Downloading audio books onto a Sony MP3 player.

MP3 players can only play music and audio books files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet to your computer and then copy them to your MP3 player using the USB cable. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable to the MP3 player and the computer.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player will create a MP3 music file for each music track. Click on this link for instruction on converting music files to mp3 file format :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r5798418-creating_transferring_mp3_music_files

Mp4 player

What is the make and/or model of this MP4 player?

My first inclination is that you need to reformat the storage area on this player. But with a make/model I can tell you for sure.

I would like to download audible books to my mp3 player. What format does Windows media player use to do this. I have an Eclipse 180BL 8GB

Ok lets look at your mp player. Name brand and model, what do you have? Some players do not have to have media player to put files onto your player. You can use media player to convert most sound files to MP3's, but if you are downloading MP3 files you can copy straight in to your player's music folder and play the files. Does your player hook up to the computer as a "portable device" or as a removable drive? If it hooks up as a removable drive you are set to go with copy and paste. If it hooks up as portable device you need to check in the players settings and look for USB settings and see if you can set it for MSC mode. repost if need more info. My MP3 doesn't see the files on it

I think in a few MP3 players you have to file transfer only through their own software and direct transfer is not Recognized.
