Re: mp3 player

1. The EnV can only play .wma and .mp3 files .. make sure no other filetype (music) exists.

2. try formatting the card before putting music on it. Make sure all your files are backed up somehwere as formatting= erasing

3. power down the phone .. Take the battery out ... then put the battery back in and power it back on and try it again .... if it fixes your problem then you were having a software glitch

Hope this helps.

I can't play music from my mini-sd card on my LG VX9900. Thanks

The LG Env can only support music within the MUSIC folder on the Mini SD card, put all the MP3's in the Music folder.

Also it only supports wmv's and MP3's if my memory serves correctly.

EnV 9900 how to get my mp3's to play

Are you using a microsd card? If so the music will show up under the sounds menu and not the VCast Music. This should help you. But in order to listen to MP3 files you need to load them onto a microsd card and then put your card into the slot on the enV. This should solve your problem.

Phone not reading music on LG enV from memory card....

i had the same problem with my original "the v" you may want to check the file type. If you have wma files, you should try converting them to mp3 or vice versa. research to see what file types your phone supports. I had to take mine into the verizon store to have them update the software on my phone to be able to play mp3 files.

once you put the SD card in your env, and open the music player, it should start downloading the music, otherwise I would:

Env phone

The easiest way to get music on phone is to sync it with windows media player, you will need music kit from service provider, otherwise tmusic needs to be mp3, or wma format, and 128k compression it also needs to be put on card in correct folder

Phone problem

I struggled with this for most of 2 days and then realized it only recognizes MP3 files, not WMA or others. Once I re-ripped CDs into mp3 and loaded them, it worked fine. Have no idea on ring tones, but believe it will not move music to ring tones within the phone itself.

LG EnV wont transfer!!

I believe the card is formatted incorrectly, this sometimes occurs when the new OS doesn't recognize the old files and sort of "partitions" them off to the side instead of deleting them.

You can try reformatting using the enV again or (if you still have the old phone) put the card back in it and delete the other files from there. Otherwise you can probably format it using your computer, seeing as you have a connection between the phone and the computer.
