Ipod do i have the right up date for i tunes is that why my i pod doesnt show up on the  on i tunes or is it limewire ??

Your ipod may be corrupted and will need to be wiped and restored.
First of all try another lead to connect your ipod to pc.
Also look inside bottom of ipod to check no bent pins in ipod dock.
Also reinstall itunes incase of program corruption.
If still not working you will have to put ipod in disk mode.
Switch ipod off then switch hold button on and off then hold down centre putton and bottom pause button until TICK appears.You are in Disk mode.
Go to file explorer and right click your ipod if shown,Chose FORMAT then chose restore device defaults and restore. Once formatted open itunes and connect ipod with good lead.Ipod can now be restored from backup or a clean restore can be done

You need to switch the iPhone to DFU mode and restore it from iTunes.

Do you have an installation CD for it ?.

If yes first install your software first your ipod can be recognized ...

Note: Using your I pod with your PC requires a media software called ( I Tunes).before you can use it with your PC.

First install your I pod installation CD for it to recognized on your system, then after wards install your I tunes software ......

Now your ready to use your Apple i pod wit your PC. take care...

You should go to www.limewire.com and downlaod limewire and manually download each song and it'll help you have the music in your i-pod. Yoy can also open i-tunes and connect your i-pod home of your i-pod and check the box that says manually manage songs but that will erase the music you have in the i-pod but will allow you to put the mp3 files on the i-pod.

sync your i-pod with the i-tunes, select your i pod on i tunes. at the bottom of the i tunes window u will see the remaining capacity of ur i pod.

secondly connect your ipod to ur pc in file transfer mode. it will show up in my computer as an removable drive.. right click on it and select propeties.. u will know the capacity of ur ipod!

open I tunes, plug the i pod into the computer, when the i pod shows up on the left hand side of the screen, right click it and you should get an option to rename it

try resetting your ipod.. most problems are fixed by resetting it

you cannot put album artwork on your ipod, it eother comes with the mp3 file or if your importing from a cd the artwork is within and put in the ipod.
