Question about Akai LCT2662 Television
Reto is right its caps 3300uf 10v on power supply board. remove back panel look for the caps mentioned above bad ones are raised-poped or buldged. I have pics of what a bad one looks like. Cause its the ones I pulled out of mine. cost me 80 cents for 4 caps... replaced with 3300uf 16v. Don't go any higher than that. If you need detailed instructions email me. I'll include the pics I took when I replaced the caps on not just one but two of my 50 inch plasmas that wouldn't turn on after a year. Both of them at the same time, imagine that. LOL THere is soldering involved in this however you can remove the board completely and take it and the new caps to a pc or tv repair tech that solders. They can do it in under 10 mins.

This is probably caused by faulty capacitors in the power supply. This is a common problem with this model. If you no longer have a standby light, it could also be caused by an unidentified short on the main board. Hope this helps you out.
