I can' get my calendar, tasks, etc. to sync to my phone...
I just recieved a Dash for Christmas and I am trying to sync up my calendar, tasks, etc. I have downloaded Windows Mobile Device Center, because I have Vista, and the phone seems to sync up. My problem is I cannot select the data I want it to sync. The only option open is my "Mobile Favorites". If anyone can give me an answer to this problem, I would be forever grateful. This phone is driving me crazy!!!

You could try removing applications you installed, one by one with a power on reboot in between each removal, to see if an app caused the phone to do this. Start with latest app you added and progress to oldest you installed, trying to see if problem is fixed between each.
To Remove programs, go to Start/Settings/Remove Software.
If this does not work, you can Hard Reset your phone. This will cause original MFG software to reinstall itself. You will lose any apps or data you installed since new.
To Hard Reset, press and hold both left and right soft keys while turning phone on, till the Reset Screen displays.
Depending on your service provider and S/W version. Windows Mobile 6 uses Active Sync to connect with Outlook on your computer. It will download Calendar, Tasks, Contacts, email, Etc. Let me know if I can help with Set-up. Thanks!
Please try the following:
1. Pop the Software Installation disk that came with your treo into your pc and allow it to autoplay.
2. After the disk begins playing, you will be prompted to choose your language-do so.
3. After a second a new dialog box will appear-Select the option "Change your syncronization method"
4. Select "Use Microsoft Outlook to manage Calendar, contacts, tasks and more.
5. Perform a hotsync
6. Open your versamail and hit the sync button
Click on the hotsync icon in your system tray and then click "custom". That will bring up the list of things you are configured to sync with (conduits). For each of the ones you have problems with, click that conduit and then make sure it's set to sync the way you want...desktop overrides, handheld overrides, syncronize, etc. Potentially you have some of them selected as "do nothing". What shows up when I click custom from hotsync are the following Outlook Conduits: Calendar, Contacts, Tasks and Memos. If you don't have those showing up, you need to update your Outlook conduits on your PC. If you have them, click to select the problem conduit, then click "change" and select what you want to have happen.
Have you setup an EAS account in VersaMail?
The VersaMail application on your Treo 650 supports Exchange ActiveSync, which allows synchronization of Email and Calendar wirelessly with Exchange Server 2003. If an EAS account exists on the handheld the Calendar conduit will disable itself to avoid duplicates.
Go to VersaMail on your Treo650
Select Menu: Accounts: Account Setup
Check to see if any EAS accounts exist on the device by selecting and account, then Edit...
One the first screen check Mail Service. Do any of them say "Exchange Activ..."
If yes you'll need to delete that account to sync calendar entries.
