Problem for Samsung SRS20DTD Side by Side Refrigerator

Samsung RS253BABB. Where is the water pump??? I

Samsung RS253BABB. Where is the water pump??? I press the switch for the water dispenser and I can hear the pump running but no water comes out. The ice maker works so its getting water to the unit through the filter but thats it.

You have two points where you can check the dispenser water. At the rear where the water supply comes in is the water inlet valve. If you disconnect the dispenser water line and then see if the water comes out when you try the dispenser. You should hear the valve work when you try the dispenser. If you don’t hear it there is a dispenser actuator switch problem. If you do hear it but water doesn’t work here there is a valve or water supply problem. If it's normal, disconnect it at the bottom of the freezer door and try again.If it's normal here it may be frozen in the door. If this is the case open the door till it thaws. A blanket over the opening will prevent thawing of all the food.
