I've had to format my sansa several times over the past 6 months to fix problems with freezing and now it simply restarts after playing a few songs causing it to start the song sequence over, pause, and start at it's initial volume. Anyway, after formatting, now the "on the go" playlist options don't work. I never used it much anyway, but it seems my player is beginning to deteriate in more ways than one...

I want to know how to put pictures on it

You need to use the supplied Sansa Media Converter program to convert your pictures (and videos) to a format the Sansa can handle.

Reformatted sansa e250 need help

When you format it, it deletes everything on the player. You'll just have to put everything back on it.

Sansa MP3 player.

There are only two things I can think that would cause this:
(1) The players file allocation table has been corrupted. The solution to this is refomat the drive and reupload the music.
(2) That the software that you are using has changed the format. This happened when I installed ITunes. It converted the music all to another format. If this is the case, copy the other player back to your drive and then upload the music back from that player.

SanDisk 2GB Sansa e250 doesn't turn on

Ok. I'm Mexican and my English is not so well but I have an solution that I'll like to share.

You have to download this file http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/Default.aspx?CatID=1449
and unzip in the Desk of windows . It's name is "pp5022.mi4"

Open the Notepad program and create a file whit name "sansa.fmt". IMPORTANT Dont save it like "sansa.txt" or "sansa.fmt.txt"
(We don't have to put anything in the notepad file, live it blank) and saved in the windows Desk same as "pp5022.mi4" file.
If you don't know where is notepad program go to "star" then "programs" then "accessories" and you'll find it there.

NOW...
First step be sure that your sansa is off
then put the lock switch in the position orange (Sansa Locked)
Then press the Microphone bottom and keep holding, at the same press the menu bottom and keep holding too at the same time.
Wait until you are in the Recovery Mode.
Then conect your sansa to the computer.
And it's gonna appear a new window whit a "version.txt" file.
Take the 2 files that you created in the Desk and drag and drop to the sansa. Then unplug your sansa to the pc.
Now turn on the sansa but Unlocked before.
And I hope that your problem have been gone.
Adios

Mp3 format??? HELP, PLEASE!

I don't know about converting the MP3s to WMAs, but I had the same problem with "corrupt files."
What fixed that for me was instead of dragging and dropping files onto the Sansa, I synchronized them using Windows Media player, but only do 10-20 songs at a time, because if you try to do too many, they probably won't show up. I know it's tedious and annoying, but that's what did it for mine :) I hope this helps.
