Re: Nintendo DS Lite L Tab Broken

Hi. Can i say it's really cool cuz you're from the uk and it says this was posted dec. 30, 2007 but over here in Canada it's the day before. Anyway you might of presses it too hard or it's possible it was just broken. I knew a lady who had a ds, opened it and there was NO sound. So anyways if you don't fin a sollution i'd recommend bringing it back for an exchange to the retailer before the warranty runs out. Sorry i don't have a better answer :(

Nintendo ds lite p6 connector installation instructions. I've tried 5 times and failed.

desloder old P6
tin 4 pads at rear of P6 location on Mobo
add solder to one tab ( holding tab)
place p6 in position
tack in place amking sure conductors of P6 are inline with the solder tabs
tack up other holding tab
with a CLEAN iron touch each connector of the P6 into the tinned conductor on the board - do NOT try and add solder or you'll just bridge the 0.5mm gaps!
or get it done at

Nintendo ds lite

The switch is broken. This is a common problem if the shell case has been removed or if someone simply pushed way too ******* the power button. A new button can be purchased on ebay for under $10. Some soldering and desoldering will be required. The DS Lite is breakable when taking it apart so be careful. You can also send it to a guy like me for a fee and have it fixed or sell the broken unit to someone like me that fixes them.
