I have a Kenmore refrigerator that shows model 363.9619686. Elsewhere on the web I've seen that the "363" portion means that it was manufactured by GE, but I can't find any match on model number 9619686 for either Kenmore or GE. How can I find a match?

Re: Kenmore model number
You are correct that the 363 means it was manufactured by GE.
You have to include the 363 in the model number when looking up parts. 3639619686
I just looked it up on sears.com and repairclinic.com.
You won't find it on GE, they don't list the models they built for other companies.

I have the same model fridge and the same thing happen to me. I purchased it from Sears June 2011. A Fridge that's 18 moths old SHOULD NOT have these problems. I did some research and there are a lot of people with the same problem and the Kenmore 795 model. I called Sears and they said since the 12 month "warrenty" expired, I'd have to purchase a Protection agreement which is $275.00 and that is good for a year. I think it's complete BS since the postings I've seen on this issue happen every 18 months... leaving you to fork out another $275.00. I will never buy another product from Sears again! Let me know if the error code keeps coming on and keep a record of the time intervals between the error coming on. There needs to be a recall!!!
the refrigerator simply by transferring the cold air from freezer via circulation fan the temp controls tells the fan to circulate cold air until the thermostat is satisfied I would check to see if the fan is blowing on most models I have seen its located in the left rear wall closest to the freezer above the top shelf
(start rant) It still amazes me that NEW washing machines, other than those sold in the UK, seem not to have manuals placed inside the drum/tub! I think that purchasers should demand one from the vendor and threaten to go elsewhere if it doesn't supply the goods! (end rant)
Of course the manual could have been lost!
Now- unfortunately FixYa cannot provide manuals direct - members of the forum are just people from all over the world, probably working from home, and not representing any particular manufacturer ;-0)
You will need to type into your search engine/web browser '(make model number) washer manual' and you should be presented with a number of sources from which you can either download for free or have to pay a nominal amount.
You could also try the manufacturer's web site direct ;-0)
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!
Check compressor working. If yes, keep your arm on discharge side. It's warm and whistling sound (nicely) inside the freezer means it's working well.If no warm in discharge side, gas leak or chocked. Remove all gas, leak test and flush out the system. Then do gas charging.
If you got a parts manual for your Kenmore the Illustrated Parts breakdown will usually show how to access the hardware.
(I would think you have to remove the inside shelf assembly to get access to screws).
How ever search the web for your kenmore model number, alot of places sell replacement parts and you can get an idea how to replace by looking at the sequence of "IPB", shown at some of these web sites.
