I have a toshiba 50hdx82 and the top and bottom of the screen is like an hour glass. Is this a convergence IC part issue or can it be fixed in the service menu?

This is a convergence problem. If you wish to attempt the repair and are comfortable working inside the set, please update this and I will supply additional details and instructions.
