Question about Canon PowerShot SD750 / IXUS 75 Digital Camera
I purchased a Canon Powershot SD750 for my son for Christmas. The problem, when the camera's on/off button is pushed to power up,the lens does not extend and a "lens error" message appears. The camera has not been abused in any way.I would appreciate any suggestions or information as to the cause of this problem. Thankyou
If purchased less than 30 days ago, take it back to the store for a replacement. If the store can't help you, Canon should then help you under your warranty. If Canon won't help, try these as a last resort:

Try cleaning the outer layers of the camera lens with a q-tip, (the part tht moves in nd out) tht way it can moves with ease.. it worked for me!

I sometimes get this because the lens doesn't extend because of my finger in the way of it. It turns itself off and then I just turn it back on and it extends all the way. hope this helps.
