I have a Craig 1 GB MP4 Player, my windows vista will not recognize it. Is there any solutions to this?

Hi trueworddeli...
Try this solution to your problem

Go to Device Manager

To get to the Device Manager
Right click on MY COMPUTER> PROPERTIES> click the Hardware tab> Device Manager
Here you should see no "yellow" exclamation points.
If you do then it means that you have a device conflict.
If you currently have your unit plugged in, you may notice the "unknown device" which would be your MP3 Player
Click on any item that has the exclamation and remove it.
After you remove all devices with conflicts and then click on refresh, and you will search for your MP3 player.
If you MP3 Player is not there restart the computer and then go back to Device Manager.
The computer will have installed your MP3 player this time and recognize it..

My computer cant recognize my mp3.problem with code 28?

INSTALL THE DRIVER FOR YOUR MP3 PLAYER .THEN YOUR COMPUTER WILL RECOGNIZE IT

Code 28 The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)Recommended resolution

Install the driver

You may be prompted to provide the path of the driver. Windows may have the driver built-in. If you are asked for the driver and you do not have it, you can try to download the latest driver from the hardware vendor’s Web site.
  1. Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
  2. Select the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager.
In the device Properties dialog box, click the Driver tab, and then click Update Driver to start the Hardware Update Wizard. Follow the instructions to install the driver.

First try to use other USB device, if the same problem occur then try to open cmos setup at startup of computer hit delete or some BIOS use F2 or F10 this can be viewed at the startup of PC bootup. Select advance setting and USB Configurations.

User profile problem/Mb

ok, 224 MB ram sounds like 256Mb with 32 being used for Video Ram. 854 MB would be a non standard amaount of ram., in other words, it is not divisible by 128. If you have more than one ram stick in the machine, then it is likely that one of them has gone bad an dwill need to be replaced.
