I have been able to connect to Xbox Live for the past month and a half without any problem... Now it wont connect, but it says that it has internet access. All of our computers and our Wii gaming system is...

I have trouble connecting from time to time, and when I do, I restore the network configuration to the factory settings. To do this, go to My Xbox -> Network Settings -> Wired/Wireless Network (whichever you are using) -> Configure Network. Go to the Additional Settings tab, and then down to Restore to Factory Defaults. Click "Yes, restore to factory defaults." Note that it won't touch any of your game data, only the network settings, so the warning it gives is nothing to be concerned about. This may or may not work for you, but it's definitely worth a shot. If all else fails, just call Xbox (1-800-4-MY-XBOX [US]) and they should be able to sort you out.
Hope this helps!

Xbox Live - MTU Error

Xbox 360 MTU errors

This issue occurs if your router or the gateway is incompatible with Xbox Live, or if your router or the gateway has an incorrect MTU setting. Note: Xbox Live requires a minimum MTU setting of 1364. We recommend that you try out the steps shown below.

Things to try:
1. Ensure that you have properly setup your connection to Live by using the Connectivity Wizard
2. Visit the following Web site to determine whether you have the correct firmware version that has been certified as compatible:
3. See the router or gateway instruction manual for information about how to change the MTU setting to 1364, to do this, or to determine whether your router supports this feature, see the router support documentation or contact support for your router device.
4. If you share a connection with a router and a modem, try a direct connection without the router.

I cant get xbox live to work can you help me?

Make sure that your connection is working properly, to do this, do a network test from the settings menu on your box. Then check the live connection and make sure it's connecting to live, if it is, then you should be able to sign in and connect to xbox live. If this doesn't work, please post back and I will try and walk you through it step by step to solve the problem!

When i go to the multiplayer menu in black ops i choose xbox live and it says Noctice. the current profile is not allowed on xbox live

Hello Israel,
I'll gladly help you.
First step, do you have an ACTIVE subscription plan to xbox live GOLD? An xbox live gold account isn't free, it has to be renewed when your subscription plan expires. Make sure you check this out first and foremost.
Second step, did you log in with the proper user ? An xbox live gold account is linked to ONE xbox user account. Make sure you have logged in with the proper account on the xbox, the one that has an active paid subscription to xbox live gold.
Hope this helps!

MTU con connecting. How to fix ?

What does MTU do on Xbox Live?

The MTU of your router or gateway must be greater than or equal to 1365. If it is less than 1365, you won’t be able to connect to Xbox Live.

To change the MTu login to your admin router panel:
  1. Go to start>Run>cmd>type ipconfig
  2. look for "default gateway" then type that address into your router login, usally the login is admin/admin if not look in your manual or call your router maker.
  3. Now login locate the area to adjust the MTU if you cant find it, contact the router maker, or look in your manual.

Good luck!
