Top agitator does not move on a whirlpool LSN100KQO Ultimate Care II commercial washer. how can i repair that?

check the motor coupling,if the coupling is broken you'll hear the motor run but the agitiator won't move and no spin,the coupling connects the motor to the transmission.watch this video

replace agitator "dogs"

Are you sure you did not have the washer set on delicate, when in this setting the agitator will stop and start.

first you remove the cap on top of the agitator then you remove the inner cap then you use a long extension with a 7/16 socket to remove the bolt the agitator will pull right up

TUB IS NOT SUPPOSE TO MOVE, TRANSMISSION IS GOING BAD

Remove the fabric softner cup. Remove cover underneath it by pulling up on it. It just snaps in and has a seal on it. Remove the bolt and lift up the upper agitator. You will need to get an agitator repair kit from an appliance parts store. It has seals for bolt and cap,.thrust washer for the botttom of upper agitator , cam dogs and a new holder and plate. Be sure to take the model number with you.

Replace the direct drive coupling on the motor.

IF THE PROBLEM WITH THE AGITATOR IS THAT IT DOESNT HAVE THE POWER AS BEFORE IT SOUNDS LIKE THE AGITATOR DOGS NEED REPLACING.GOOD LUCK

the agitator is supposed to do that in wash dont worry
