If you have already installed the software that came on the CD along with the package, you can try connecting your transmitter/receiver to a different USB port. Also, restarting your computer once may help. But make sure that you have installed the software that came on the CD on the new system.

The light on the transmitter is no longer on, but if I put it close to my keyboard and mouse, they work fine..Is there a battery in the transmitter that controls the signal strength??

The light doesn't need to be on to work. the lights on the transmitter indecate if the number or cap lock is on or if the mouse or keyboard batteries are low.

My logitech mouse wont work but i think it might be the reciever thats messed up

hi bruce,

for security and comfort reasons, get another keyboard and mouse
( just in case you mix up sth. or windows fails recognizing your cordless devices)
then

- do check if the batteries of the mouse have gone flat,

- powering up the usb port 2.0 voltage in BIOS (only if there is such option available!) might add to the range of the transmitter

- now resyncronize keyboard, mouse and transmitter device

good luck.

I cannot get my wireless mouse to work what am i doing wromg model#KB1025LSR

Take out the batteries. Plug the USB transmitter in the PC. Reinsert the batteries in the mouse. Turn it on. Press the button on the USB transmitter if it has one. It should flash quickly. Press and hold the button on the bottom of the mouse until you see the light blink and then slow. This is the procedure for coding the mouse to the transmitter. Everytime it powers up it searches for a frequency transmission. This should cure the problem. Check the batteries too and use fresh ones. Good luck.

Microsoft Curve 3000 Keyboard battery Low with new batteries

Your response to the clarification request was placed correctly.
Your keyboard must have a button on the bottom to sync with the USB transmitter. Press the button on the transmitter first and then the button on the keyboard. This will re-sync the devices in a new radio channel. Give it a try, it might just be a communincatin problem between the two.

The intellipoint software and drivers are not really needed for the the keyboard to work, even if it has special keys for functions like volume and such. As soon as your batteries start to run out you will be able to tell by the keyboard not responding properly to key-presses.

Wireless mouse wont connect.

Hi there.
Some wireless mice seem to go into some kind of sleep mode, in other words if you leave them for an amount of time they disconnect, the way to reconnect is to right click while moving the mouse.
Also check to make sure that the batteries in the mouse are seated properly.

Good luck

Keyboard not working

This is sort of general but it just may help.
Make sure your batteries are in correctly.
Make sure the transmitter dongle is in the USB.
Look on the transmitter and the mouse and keyboard
itself (bottom) for a little tiny button that says connect
or reconnect. Move the mouse about six inches away from
the transmitter and press both the transmitter and the mouse.
That should reestablish the signal twixt the two.(or three KB)
