Sharp tv 20rs100s DEAD

If the televisions is DEAD first step to do the repair is,Check the AC cord if there's a continuity. If good check the fuse if busted or good. Then check the power supply from bridge type diode, regulator transistor and H-output.This checking can be done if you have a little knowledge in basic electronic. So if cant do repair and checking its better to call a technician.Thanks..

Does not power up at all no lights,

Try to check the fuse if not busted, the fuse is located at the main ac supply of your tv try t0 follow the ac cord and it will direct you to the power supply of your tv, it has two lines try to check or trace both lines to locate the fuse, if the fuse is only busted no burn marks try to replace with the same rating but if the fuse glass is covered with black that looks like something is burned inside dont replace it the other parts of your tv has a damage specially the regulator and the rectifier is shorted. Note before removing the back cover of your tv you should be sure that you unplug it first cause one mistake could cause serious injury. Good day and be careful.

Sharp television model 32c241

This is a power supply problem. It may be as simple as a blown fuse or as complex as a problem with overvoltage and overcurrent events within the circuitry of the Horizontal and Hig Voltage sections of the set. If it is a fuse that's simple to replace, the other well that can get kind of involved. In any event I would suggest that you get the set analyzed by a qualified Television repair person.

No power

You could have a bad high voltage transformer or problem with the power supply. If the set is over 6 years old, It would probably be better to replace it.
