I cannot get batteries for my Kodak EasyShare C310. I've tried ordinary Kodak batteries but they do not work. Why?

The following link at Kodak Suppoprt shows that 2 Oxy Alkaline, NiMh or Lithium AA batteries are all that is required

As long as the batteries are in the right way around then there should be no problem. See the following Kodak Support link
