My samsung BluRay Player BD D5700 will play DVD's but will not play BluRay DVD's.

I had a similar issue. Try resetting your resolution. By default it should be at the highest level. I reset mine to 1080i and now the BluRays will play.

My TV is a few years old, I think it was bogging down because it was getting too much information from the player, but that's just a guess.

My 3 year old got the remote and managed to set parental control password on our Samsung DVD-R135. How can we reset it?

  • Not a problem you can reset it by doing the following
  1. Press the ^ and v buttons (up and down arrows) on your DVD recorder simultaneously when the power is on.
  • All settings including the password will revert to the factory settings.
  • Note that this function is possible only when no disc is inserted.

I need to reset the country on my samsung dvd-sr150m as it is currently set to austra so when it scans for digital channels it isnt scanning england

Resetting to Austria, for no reason at all, is a known issue. The machines _cannot_ be reset by the user. Samsung DVD models affeceted need to be taken to their Mitcham depot for a software upgrade (either the customer does that, or an engineer can call at your home to take it away and bring it back at a later date). In the UK, phone the Samsung helpline 0870 242 0303 Mon-Sat 9.00-6.00
