hi i brought a sony dav-x1, i was told it was a multi region player but have now found out its not. is the a code or somthing i can put in and convert to multi region

Well my dav x1 is a region 2 machine and i wish to know if anyone has a hack etc to make this multi region or at least region 1 compatible
