Sounds like a virus/spyware problem. If you have access to another machine download a recovery disc to start the machine with and search for the problem. I would recommend AVG but there are plenty to choose from.
When you turn on the laptop press either Esc or F10 repeatably when the Vaio logo appears on the screen. The Vaio Recovery Wizard will appear and you can just follow the onscreen prompts.
boot into safe mode with networking ,run malwarebytes and get that to remove the virus. if your disc isn't compatible you can try using neo-smart's recovery discs (http://neosmart.net/blog/2008/windows-vista-recovery-disc-download/)and burn that to disc and recover your vista that way
if you used the recovery disc for your model the drivers could have been installed already. Now, you need to manually install it. If you don't have the driver disc then u can download it from Toshiba's website. Just look for your specific model. I still recommend to reinstall using the recovery disc. hope this helps u
If you use the recovery disc provided by the manufacturer, it will re-install OS, drivers also the pre-installed softwares which comes along when youget a new computer. make sure u backup the data first.
The recover disc is like a ghost or image copy.
This should work. Everything would be loaded in the recovery disc.
Now here is where it gets tricky. I'm not sure what wireless network card you have there but on that page is a section that says other available downloadsm click on where it says "click here to view these results". There will be drivers for different network cards. I believe it will be the first one in the list, the broadcom one, if not then try any of the other wireless card drivers. Hope this helps you and sorry for the delay.
